Tilda & Co Challenge - Mix and Match

Last week was hectic so I've just pretended there were no challenges to do and am starting again today with a clean slate!!! The Tilda & Co Challenge was certainly different this week. Called 'Mix and Match' you had to use two stamps to make up something new. I've used a Tilda head and Edwin's Party to make up 'Tilwin'.

Arte Y Pico Award

I am overwhelmed. I have received the Arte Y Pico award three times in one day. Many thanks to Ann (yes I did share it with Caitlin!), Chrissie and Traciejane. I am on cloud nine as there are so many wonderful and inspirational bloggers out in cyberspace and I have only been blogging for such a short time.

There are 5 rules attached to this award and they are :

1 You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.

2 Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone

3 Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and the link to the blog that has given him/her the award itself

Caitlin's Altered Lunchbox

My grandaughter is on Easter holidays at the moment and has been spending some time with me. She is a budding crafter and has altered this lunchbox to use when she goes back to school on Tuesday.

My Paper World - Sketch #7

Another interesting challenge sketch from My Paper World. I've used K & Co paper with a Dufex image. The butterfly has been handmade by a friend.

Daring Cardmakers - It's All in the Game

This challenge from Daring Cardmakers is called 'It's All in the Game'. I have used images from Cuddly Buddly Designables called Local Lads. I particularly like them because of their simplicity and clean lines.

Tilda & Co Challenge - Template

Wow, doing challenges certainly gets the old grey matter into gear! This challenge from Tilda & Co Challenge Blog has the title 'Template' where I have had to make a card using the template given. I find I always make the same type of cards so this gets me out of the rut which is a good thing. I have used 'Tilda in Wellies' and have glittered her wings with DecoArt Glamour Dust and the flowers, spots on her wellies and petticoat with Carysma Tropical Sunset Glitter. I'm going to give this card to my daughter as it's her birthday on Tuesday. I'm not too sure about the colours, not my usual thing at all but hey, remember, I'm doing something different today.

Rainbow Lady Challenge - Bookmark

This was interesting. I have had the filmstrip images by Rachel Greig for over a year. I even got them all the way from Oz and this is the first of me finding something to use them on! This is Rainbow Lady's challenge and is titled 'Bookmark'.

Cute Card Thursday - All Creatures Great and Small

The Cute Card Thursday theme is 'All Creatures Great and Small'. I loved doing this challenge as I'm so into cute at the moment. The stamps are Belle and Bertie by Jayne Nestorenko from her new Cute Companions Romance Set.

Wednesday Stamper - First Letter First Name

This challenge was perfect for me. For a while I've been meaning to make a pot to keep my pens and stuff in so this one made me do it! The challenge was 'First Letter First Name' by Wednesday Stamper.

Arty Girlz Challenge - Doodling

The Arty Girlz Challenge this week is 'Doodling'. For my doodle I used All My Memories Doodling Kit with my clear Sakura Stardust pen. The image and greeting I stamped using Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid.

Papertake Challenge - Weather with You!

This challenge is from Papertake Weekly Challenge and is called 'Weather with You!' which I have used rather loosely. I have made a Get Well Card for one of our friends who is in hospital at the moment.
