I hope Mr Blogger is working well and has scheduled my post.  Mr C and I are off on the last of our jaunts of the summer.  This time we are off to Ipswich to meet another couple of friends from Spain.  They are over staying in their caravan for a couple of months.

Another lovely day.  I don't know what I'm going to do when it gets colder and rainy again.  I love this weather and reminds me of when we stayed in Spain!  It certainly does feel odd making Christmas cards when the sun is beating through the window.

Christmas Cards DT - Snowflakes

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all enjoying this wonderful weather.  I know I am and hope it lasts for a while yet.

We had a super time on our last trip to see friends.  We were out and about with them every day and who would believe that there is a vineyard in the heart of Yorkshire!  It is in Holmfirth, also famous for where Last of the Summer Wine was filmed.  They also took us to see the Derwent Dams where the Dambusters practised with their bouncing bombs in preparation for their assault on the Ruhr Dam.  It was spectacular scenery and so peaceful.

We've one more trip to make before blogging is back to normal.  We are off again on Friday so fingers crossed the weather holds for that as it's an area of the country we've never been to before.

Christmas Card DT - Stockings

Good morning one and all!

Wow, life is passing me by in a flash!  Mr C and I enjoyed our trip south to visit friends and are now at home for a week before setting off over the border again to visit more friends!  I've so much to catch up on that during the summer, unfortunately, blogging will not be at the top of my list but rest assured once our holidays are all over and our granddaughter is back to school I'll be back again on a regular basis.
