Hi everyone!

What a lovely time Mr C and I had on Friday night at a family gathering to celebrate my cousin's husbands 60th.  I'm all out of sorts day-wise though as instead of being out with my Aunt on Friday I was out with her on Thursday so now I've no idea what day it is!!!

Mr C is working so I'm off out with my bestest bud today to the bead fair at Perth Concert Hall. We haven't been to that before so we're looking forward to it.

Where has another week disappeared to then?  I thought I'd better do some crafting this morning just so you know I'm still around!!!

Mr C and I are off to Nick Nairn's restaurant at Dunblane Hydro tonight as my cousin's husband was 60 yesterday so there's a family gathering to celebrate tonight.  If I get any decent photos I'll post them tomorrow!  Off now to do my nails and some general pampering ... having a lazy afternoon.

Hi!

I really did mean to look for Mr Mojo yesterday but, as always, things didn't quite turn out the way I thought!  

Mr C went away with daughter to look at cars.  She had a few on her list but had decided that if she liked the one first on the list she wasn't looking any further.  That happened so the pair of them, plus granddaughter came back and of course, on went the kettle and chatting took over!  

The challenge this fortnight at Cards for Men was more of a challenge for me than usual.  I'm getting better at male cards but funny really isn't something I tend to do on a card so the learning curve wasn't so much a curve but a vertical line!  I hope you like it and will pop along to the challenge and join in with us.

Fail, fail, fail ... Mr Mojo has decided he's not ready to settle down again and has left the country, not telling me and, worse still, he's left me behind!  Oh, woe is me ...

Daughter is looking for a car so she's off hunting with her Dad today.  I'm happy to leave the pair of them to it, they'll get on better on their own.  I might get some ironing done but, on the other hand, I might try to find Mr Mojo.

I missed out on posting yesterday, busy day!  I did have the card half made so when I got up this morning I popped upstairs to the craft room and finished it.  

The weather's not looking too promising today and it's certainly a bit cooler.  Fingers crossed that the rain doesn't come on as my friend and I are off into town while Mr C and her husband are at golf.

I'm a bit later again today cos I met my granddaughter in town for lunch.  She'd a few things to get before going back to school next week.  We had a lovely afternoon with warm sunshine again.

I'm trying to keep quiet as Mr C is sleeping as he's on night shift just now.  Tonight's his last night and he's usually a bit grumpy by now!

Hi everyone!

Wow, posting three days in a row ... a first for a long time!  What a lovely day again.  I've been into town to meet up with one of my friends who is recently retired.  It was lovely to have time to potter and have lunch and a good long natter.

Mr C and I had an afternoon out yesterday ... at the Truckfest (yes, Truckfest) at Ingleston.  I just love big trucks and wish I was at least 30 years younger and I could be a truck driver!  For those of you who have been following my blog for a long time you'll remember I was lucky enough to take part in a Fire Service Ladies Driving Day and was able to drive an artic, fire engine, bus etc ... oooooh, bliss!  When we got home we met up with friends, had tea then got flights organised.  Mr C and I have been asked to house sit for friends in Spain while they are on a cruise so our friends are coming too.  That's the end of October, only 11 weeks, and the way time is flying it won't be that long!

Hi everyone!

Phew, I'm back from all my travels and am hoping to get back into my normal routine this week.  Mr C and I have enjoyed all our trips and it's been so lovely to catch up with friends.  Even better, the weather has been behaving itself and I don't remember when I last had a cardi on.  Oh I so wish it would continue until about the end of September, not too much to ask is it?

On now to my effort for this challenge which I managed to get onto the DT blog in the nick of time!  The theme this time is a sketch which I've flipped for my design.
