Here is my card for LIM and this week it's a one layer.  No faux pas this time, I read the challenge properly!  I do like making CAS cards but it took me a while to get into the one layer ones.  Sometimes they work, sometimes not!  Hope you like this one.

Leap Year Birthday

Hi!  Woopee, I'm getting my four-wheeled black beastie back this afternoon.  It transpired it was a brake hose that had broken and all the brake fluid had leaked onto my Son & DIL's drive, ooops!  Mr C and I are off to Callander this afternoon to pick the car up so there'll be no crafting done and I'm out to see my friend at night.

This card is on its way to one of my friends in Spain.  She was born on 29th February so only celebrates her birthday every four years.  Unfortunately it doesn't make her any younger as this year is a big birthday.  They say it doesn't make you feel any different but I'll tell you when my turn comes at the end of December!  Mr C and I are really looking forward to meeting up with her and her husband ... only 8 more sleeps!

This set is for one of my best friends whom I've known for over 40 years!!!  I bought her a Swarovski pen with floating crystals in the barrel and was going to buy notelets to compliment it but then I though 'I could make some myself' and this is how it turned out, and even though I say it myself, I'm really pleased with the final product.

I've mentioned my friend Reeta before and she must have the biggest family in the world! She ordered 6 cards and these are the first 3. The rest are a job for tomorrow. She always gives me a clue as to what they do or are interested in so I hope my cards portray the descriptions.

Another two commissions done and dusted. These one's are for our landlady's daughter to give to her daughter (Alicia) and her sis (Julie). She wanted bookmarks on both of them and the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland for one and a Sri Lankan Buddah on the other. Got into a rut with those two and they are very similar so I hope she's pleased.

Happy Birthday Lynne

Just when I was trying to wind down a little I've been flooded with commissions. I have 10 to do and 2 are for tomorrow and I only got them today. It is a little cooler tonight as there's a breeze and I think we might be in for a storm so I thought I'd best just get stuck in.

This card is for a gent who has a stall at the market and it's his wife's birthday on Tuesday so he thought he'd better keep in her good books. I hope she likes what I've done. I was desperate to try out the new Sizzlits alphabet that arrived the other day. What a bargain - you can see it on offer of the week here.
