Sunday again, the weeks are passing by at an alarming rate!  It was a lovely day yesterday in my little corner of the world and after getting caught up with the housework and ironing Mr C and I spent the afternoon in the garden.  The grass is growing like wildfire ... as are the weeds!  The garden is looking good again, it just takes a wee while to lick it into shape after winter.  

It's time for another Christmas Card challenge and this time there's to be no embellies.  Now even for me, the clean and simple type, that's quite difficult but I think I've nailed it with this card.

Christmas on Sunday

Hi!

Time for Christmas cards again but I've only one to share with you this week.  I really must press on with the stuff for the fayre.  I have a pile of cards that need boxes but luckily I bought lots of envelope boxes from Tracy at Crafteezee.  They are brilliant, strong and ready scored.  I sent one with a card to my friend in Spain and it survived the trip completely unscathed.  Anyway, that's my job for today ... ironing can wait till tomorrow!

I just have to share these photos with you.  Our son has a huge garden and, this morning behind his woodshed, he captured these two four-day old roe deer.  

The parents come to the garden regularly and are relatively tame so that's another two to add to the family.  How cute are they!

On to the business in hand though!  As I said, only one to share today and now I'm off to make the boxes.

Hi my blogging buddies!

Another miserable day in bonnie Scotland.  It's been raining since I got up so I decided I was having a day in the craft pod.  Mr C is having a lazy day so all is well within our dwelling!

As I said yesterday, I've had a busy few days and I must apologise for my lack of commenting ... note to self ... must try harder!  I've excelled myself this morning, I've five, yes five, cards to share with you today.  When I've finished this post I'm going to get started on the new Hobby House kit that dropped through the door the other day.  It's every bit as fabulous as the first one and I can't wait to play.  The beauty of the kit is I can follow the inspiration and everything I need for the 12 cards is there at hand.  I'll share with you when I've finished.

I hope you are all well and enjoying your Sunday.  Weather here is back to normal ... rain!  I came up to the craftroom just after breakfast and I'm still here.  I just don't know where the time goes when I'm in my crafty bubble but I do have four cards to share with you today.

Hello there peeps!

Thanks for all the get well wishes.  I feel much better today.  I've got rid of my sore head and eyes and am just a bit stuffed up now.  The cough is still there but not nearly so bad ... maybe I've escaped the lurgy!  Fingers and everything else crossed.

Mr C decreed that it was to be a lazy Sunday and as it's hissing down outside I agreed with him so promptly climbed the stairs to the craftroom!  I've made three cards I'm about to share with you and they're all for the Christmas box.

Off now to make something to eat, late lunch or early dinner!  It's a take it as it comes day then I'm coming back to play as I've still loads of cards to make for the school fete so it's going to have to be a production line I think!  Endeavour is on at 8pm so I'll be back downstairs for that.

I've just noticed, only another 50 posts and I've reached 1000!  I've got this post scheduled as I'm meeting my granddaughter for lunch today.  I asked her if she wanted to meet on Monday but she told me she's busy as it's the last day of the Easter holiday!  I don't remember having such a hectic social life when I was 15!

 The theme at Sunday with Santa on Facebook this week in Snowflakes.  I've cheated a bit cos I've only put one on my card but I think it's quite effective.  I rooted about in my Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads and after trying a few found that Tea Dye was the best match for kraft card.
