Suzy Bee's DT - Anything Goes

Hi everyone

Firstly, a very big thank you to all my blogging friends and commenters, you make crafting worthwhile and I don't say often enough how much I appreciate your visits.  

On now to this week's challenge at Suzy Bee's.  It's any Anything Goes so please join in!

Today is going to be a catch-up day ... more ironing, washing, housework and hopefully I'll manage to squeeze in some baking.  It's been all play this week and today's the day it's caught up with me!  Not to worry, I've got tomorrow to look forward to, an afternoon with Mr C and our son and DIL.  It might be an afternoon of work mind you as they had trees cut down last night and they've all to be chopped up and stored, ready for using next winter ... or the one after that!  Mr C has to take bags with him and we're getting a load of wood to bring home for our store.  I know there'll be a delicious meal at the end of it too!

It's a Man Thing!

Morning peeps!

I hope it's going to be a better day today.  When I went to the hairdresser yesterday I could hardly see in front of me and it was like that all morning and even when it cleared up it was grey and miserable.  I spent the rest of the morning houseworking (not my favourite occupation) and I played in the craft room in the afternoon.  Here is some of the fruits of my labours!

Meeting cousin for lunch so no doubt lots to catch up on.  Have a good day and stay safe.

Happy 3rd Birthday

Hi everyone!
Definitely an Autumnal feel this morning and it's very foggy at the moment.  After the last couple of days being so lovely I thought it was here to stay for a while but hey ho, it is the end of September!

My friend and I enjoyed our day in Dundee although the only thing I bought was something for our tea last night!  Last of the big spenders eh!

This card is for my neighbours' granddaughter who will be 3 on Christmas Eve!  I know, I'm a bit early but I saw a challenge for numbers on a card so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone!

Meeting up with one of my other friends today but we've still to decide what we're doing.  I'll keep you posted.

New Beginnings

Hi everyone!

A lovely day was had with my friend yesterday.  We went along to Glendoick Garden centre for their Tuesday seniors' lunch, oooh it was yummy and excellent value.  My friend had broccoli soup and fish & chips and I had haggis, neeps & tatties then Crannachan cheesecake!

Today I'm off to Livingston.  One of my buddies is there just now looking after her granddaughter so we're meeting up while the young one is at school.  We are also meeting up with Mr C's cousin who is also a friend of my friend ... small world eh!  I've no doubt there will be lots of chatting done.

This was another of the cards I made on Sunday.  I just love these Lili of the Valley toppers, they are so sweet and easy to make a card with.
