How are you all this morning?  It's a better morning here in my little corner of the world and the sun's actually trying to poke it's head through the clouds.  Roll on Spring but I fear we may have a little of the white stuff before that happens!

Nothing much happening in the Campbell household today.  Mr C is on call so can't go far from the house and I've got a date with Mr Vacuum and Mr Duster!  It's a hard life but if I get a wriggle on I'll have the afternoon to play in the craft room.  Enjoy your weekend.

Morning everyone!

Monday again, where does the weekend go?  Yesterday didn't turn out a lazy day after all.  My daughter and granddaughter wondered if I wanted to meet them in town so that was the afternoon gone in a flash.  Daughter is getting on OK with her splint although her hand is very sore and still quite swollen.  Thankfully she's still able to go to work as she'd be driven round the bend if she was at home all day!

I've scheduled this as my friend and I are off to Edinburgh for our trip to the Royal Yacht Britannia that was postponed last week because of the snow.  It's today or no day as my friend is on babysitting duties for the rest of the week and is off down south next week to visit her sister and by the time she returns our Tesco vouchers will have run out .... I mean, we've only had them for 6 months!!!

Christmas on Sunday

Hi!

Me again.  I've only one card for my self imposed Christmas makes on a Sunday.  I've got a few kits that I'm using to make other cards so I've only time to fit in a few challenges this week.

Mr C is outside cutting the grass which he hopes will be the last time this year.  Our GSD is looking out of the window wishing she was there with him but dogs and electric lawnmowers are not a very good mix.  Here is a picture of her in her morning pose waiting for the poor postie.  She goes absolutely loopy when he pops things through the letter box but will happily walk past him in the street!

Anyway, off now to get some more kit cards made up.  It's so easy not having to enlist the help of Mr Mojo, especially when he's sloped off and not told me where!

New Beginnings

Hi everyone!

A lovely day was had with my friend yesterday.  We went along to Glendoick Garden centre for their Tuesday seniors' lunch, oooh it was yummy and excellent value.  My friend had broccoli soup and fish & chips and I had haggis, neeps & tatties then Crannachan cheesecake!

Today I'm off to Livingston.  One of my buddies is there just now looking after her granddaughter so we're meeting up while the young one is at school.  We are also meeting up with Mr C's cousin who is also a friend of my friend ... small world eh!  I've no doubt there will be lots of chatting done.

This was another of the cards I made on Sunday.  I just love these Lili of the Valley toppers, they are so sweet and easy to make a card with.

I forgot to say the other day that I got my car back, all well again ... that is, except my pocket!  I'll need it this morning as our granddaughter has an appointment at the orthodontist again and is definitely having her braces fitted today.  I hope all goes ok and they don't hurt her too much.

Best get a wriggle on.

Oh Happy Day!

Hi everyone!

Hope you are ok and not getting blown away in the strong winds.  Lots of washing flapping away on the lines and not a raindrop in sight!

Housework and a little playing is the order of the day in my little world.  Mr C is working midday to midnight so I can play to my heart's content!  Sorry the photo is a bit wonky.  I can never seem to get my kraft card completely flat and it looks all warped but believe me it's ok in real  life.

Enjoy your evening.  I'm going to watch episode 5 of Broadchurch, I do hope it moves along a bit tonight.  It's one of these programs I can't stop watching even although I think it's been pretty slow.  I hope there is a final conclusion and it doesn't leave you wondering ...

Hi everyone!

What a fabulous day.  It's so nice not only to see the sun but to feel a little warmth as well.  I hope you are all enjoying it.  I had washing out today and got it all dried.  I must try to summon the ironing fairy cos I don't want to have to do it!  I must share a photo of the daffodils I bought the other day.  They were tight little buds and look at them now!

I always wait with baited breath on a Saturday to see what the new Less is More challenge is going to be.  I love every one of them but today stretched me a bit as lime isn't one of the colours I'd normally use.  Isn't it funny how we all have our favourite colours!

Hello!

Well, the start of another week and Mr C and I are on the countdown to our holiday.  We are off on 7 March for three weeks and can't wait to get some sunshine (hopefully!).

I woke early this morning so decided to get up rather than lie in bed playing games on my phone!!!  I've still some ironing to catch up on so I'm off to do that before meeting an old school friend for lunch .  We have a catch up every couple of months and today's the day.  It's a beautiful morning,  very frosty but the sun is up and will have defrosted my car by the time I go out!

This is the last of the cards I made on Saturday night.  I love A Day for Daisies images but haven't used them enough.  This one has been paper pieced and I think she's cute.
