MAWTT DT - Snow Cute

Morning everyone!

Hope you are all well this morning but if you're feeling poorly I do hope you feel better soon.  It was a gorgeous summer day yesterday but unfortunately today we're back to grey skies and rain is forecast.

This is my last post for Moving Along with the Times and today I'm hosting the challenge.  I chose the theme of Snow Cute in the hope that some of our challengers will don their thinking caps to make their first Christmas card of the year.  I'm a lucky girl as my Christmas card box is full to overflowing which is just as well as I won't be making any more.  The sale of my crafty stuff has gone well but there is still a bit left so it will be getting popped onto Ebay at the weekend.   Two boxes of paper and card went to a good home yesterday.  One of my friends SIL runs Beavers so I'm sure they will manage to put it to good use.

My last card has been crafted and my last blog posted.  I am still going to pop in and out of blogland though to keep in touch with my blogging buddies so I'll say Au Revoir for now and see you around.

Morning one and all!

Chasing my tail as I always seem to be these days!  A gorgeous day here so some washing is about to be loaded into the machine.  The other day I had bedding on the line and Mr C said "your washing's lying on the ground". Thinking something had escaped it's pegs I went outside only to find that the whirly pole had snapped in two.  With Mr C holding it upright and me rescuing the washing the poor old whirly was consigned to the bin!  I now have a nice shiny new one so today might just be its inauguration!

Our granddaughter is on study leave just now so I'm taking her out for lunch.  She can't study all the time and deserves a wee break.  That's two down and her next one isn't till next Friday.  Ooooh, even though it's a very long time since I sat my O Levels and Highers it still brings back memories ... not all good!!!

Hi!

I seem to be lurching from one DT challenge to another just now.  I had planned to have a crafty day on Sunday but that didn't quite pan out as hoped.  It was a gorgeous day so I changed beds and got them out to dry then my friend popped in and of course we sat and chatted, ate Easter biscuits and made some jewellery!  Tomorrow always is another day but unfortunately catches you out now and again!

Today is time for Team B's challenge at Moving Along with the Times.  The theme this time was chosen by Tammy and I hope the gorgeous cards the DT have made will inspire you to join in.

Scheduled post today as I'm off to Dundee with my friend to meet up with her sister, lunch then an afternoon session of Bingo!  Fingers crossed we're lucky.

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all well this morning and enjoying the better weather we are having. Another lovely start to the day here so let's just hope it lasts!

Yesterday when I went out to the car to go to visit my friend I'd a flat tyre.  As it was such a beautiful day I decided to walk and Mr C came to pick me up and, of course, he changed my tyre for me.  I'll need to pay a visit to the garage today to get another one sorted out though.  I'll do some shopping in town if I need to wait for it being done.

After I've been to the garage I'm meeting my cuz for lunch and daughter and granddaughter are popping in for tea.  I'll get caught up on all their latest happenings.  Daughter has got a new job, where she works just now but a step up and she's to be told her start date today so she'll be mega excited and I probably won't get a word in edgeways!  Granddaughter was at the cinema last night with her pal to see the Lego Movie so I've no doubt I'll be hearing about that too.  I tell you, she's got a better social life than the rest of us put together!  

Best get a wriggle on now.  See you again soon.

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all well this morning and raring to go.  Yesterday actually turned out quite nice and I went for a walk in the afternoon with Mr C and the dog.  There is a lovely walk not far from our house and I haven't been along there for a while so it was nice to see the spring flowers poking their heads through and banks of snowdrops too.  It also proved to me how unfit I've become again so I'd better start going out with them a bit more often!

  

I've nothing much on the agenda today as my friends have deserted me completely this week!  Oh well, not to worry, there's always housework and playing in the craft room to keep me occupied.

Nothing much doing today other than a bit of housework and a play in the craft room, hopefully.  Mr C is due home around 8pm so I'll be picking him up from the station, providing the trains are running!

Hi everyone!

This is my very first challenge post for Moving Along with the Times and it was one of my least favourite themes - Boys - chosen by Susan!  Never daunted though, I donned my big girls knickers and put this together.  I was quite pleased with it once I'd faffed about for ages!  The male theme might just get easier in time ... NOT.

Anyway, this post is scheduled today as I'm off to Dundee with my friend and we're meeting up with her sister there.  We are trying our luck at the bingo as the afternoon session's books are free today so any win would be a bonus.

Another Baby

Hello folks!

Hope you are all well and the weather's not too bad where you are.  We are alternating between sun and heavy sleet showers today and it's a bitter wind out there ... when are we going to get decent weather?  Not to worry, I'm warm and dry in my crafty bubble!  You'll be fed up with baby cards but I think this might be one of the last.  I'm trying to make a pile of cards for the school fete but that's when Mr Mojo decides to go walkabout!  Thank goodness for Pinterest, I get lots of inspiration there.

Here's a piccie of the 5 cardis I sewed up yesterday.  I still need to get buttons for them but that's on my do to list for next time I'm in town.  As you can see the design on them all is this same, it's my fav and I don't even need to consult the pattern any more!

Must get a wriggle on and get into the kitchen to cook tea.

Biker Boy!

Good evening friends!

Well, what a miserable day it's been here.  Very heavy rain, strong winds and cold again.  It's been more like November than May!  Being Friday I was out with my Aunt as always.  Mr C came too and we met up with my cousin and her husband and went to the Golf Club for lunch.  Ooooh it was scrumptious.

Nothing planned for the weekend so far but depending on the weather ... who knows!

Hi everyone!

I never got around to blogging yesterday again as I was out most of the day with my friend and in the evening I was watching TV and knitting!  Never a dull moment in my life.  Anyway, today Mr C is sleeping as he was on the midnight to midday shift so I am upstairs in the craftroom this afternoon.  

My new computer is still getting on my nerves but I'm beginning to get the better of it.  My biggest problem is Epson doesn't have a driver for my all-in-one printer that works with Windows 8.  I tried downloading the drivers for Windows 7 but to no avail so my techy guru (son!!!) is on the case as I don't want to have to buy a new printer.  My printer is working but I can't change the print quality etc which is a real pain in the proverbial.  

At long last I've actually made a card though!  This is one for our friends whose daughter recently had the twins.  I'm going to wrap it in tissue and pop it in an envelope box as it's going all the way to Spain.

I'm off now to make dinner but will probably be back later as there's nothing worth watching on TV tonight ... blasted footie again!

Hello!

The sun is out and it looks nice outside but no doubt will be rather chilly when we venture out later.  Mr C and I are meeting up with friends for a seniors lunch!  Being the big 60 has its advantages!  Tonight my friend and I are going to a bead class and we are making a Kumihimo bracelet.  I'll let you see it tomorrow, even the word sounds complicated.

I've been good this morning, have got started to the ironing pile and stood as long as my back would let me.  Best go and rustle Mr C up.  He's an appointment with the nurse this morning to have his regular BP check and needs to take the dog out before he goes.  All go in our house today!

Bestest Friends

Hi!  I didn't have time to blog yesterday!  My friend and I had a day out to House of Bruar.  It was the most beautiful drive up the A9 and although it was very cold the sun was shining and there was snow sprinkled on the top of the hills.  We had a delicious lunch and then browsed through the shop.  When I got home it was time to cook the evening meal then I got my knitting out and watched tv.  Mr C and I are off to Spain on 8 March for a month and I'm busy knitting little cardigans for one of the charities in the town where we used to live.  It keeps my hands busy while watching tv in the evenings and I'm doing something worthwhile at the same time.

Mr C was working from midnight to midday so I'm up in the craft room this afternoon trying to get all my DT work up to date for going away.  I know there's still a few weeks till we're off but also I know how quickly things catch up with me!

This card was made from my latest purchase.  It's the Mabel Lucie Attwell CD by Katie Sue Designs.  I've loved MLA since I was little as I had several books with these adorable drawings.
