Christmas Card DT - Heat Emboss

Hi!
Sunday again and it's time for Christmas cards.  I'm so pleased that my box is filling up and I hope you are managing to keep up with us too!

The challenge today is for heat embossing but when I had my craft meltdown I sold all my embossing stuff so I got special dispensation to do dry embossing, so here goes.

Enjoy your Sunday.
Hugs

Fusion

Hello!
My friend and I had a lovely day in Glasgow yesterday.  We've both got bus passes so why not use them!  It only takes an hour from Perth, you get off the bus, cross the road and you're into the Buchanan Galleries ... brilliant!  We had time for lunch and a look round the shops then back on the bus again.  Thankfully my back was a bit better yesterday but I'm determined not to let it stop me doing anything, if I can help it!  All I bought was 2 buttons ... last of the big spenders!

When we were in John Lewis looking at the buttons my friend came across beauties, while we were ooohing and aaahing over them she noticed the price ... £6.95 EACH!!!  She quickly returned the tube to the display!

My car, after me crowing that it passed it's MOT with nothing needing done, is back in the garage today.  I went to move it out of the drive yesterday so the guy could sand between the mono blocks and it was reluctant to start and when it did it stuttered and spluttered.  Mr C said it was like me, not firing on all cylinders, so hopefully it will be sorted by tonight.

Not sure what's happening in our household today.  Mr C is supposed to be going to golf with his pal but it looks as though the rain isn't far away and the pair of them are fair weather golfers.

Ah well, I'd best go and find something constructive to do.
Enjoy your day.

For the Girls

Good morning and the sun is shining!
I did hear on the weather forecast yesterday that today was to be summer so I'm going to make the most of it as winter is set to return at the end of the week!

I've got my granddaughter to take to the orthodontist at lunchtime.  Hopefully today she'll get her railtracks and her teeth will be on the way to being straight!  Her eye teeth are out of place as she doesn't have enough room in her mouth for them so hopefully this will help.  In my day they just whipped my eye teeth out and it didn't seem to do me any harm!

Hope you all have a lovely day.  I'm off now to enjoy the sunshine!

Hugs

CAS(E)

HI everyone!

Sorry I didn't make it onto the blog yesterday.  The day sped by and I just didn't have enough time.  I was playing in the craftroom with the Wee Cardmaking Kit from The Hobby House.  It is brilliant with enough to make 12 cards and the inspiration to go with it.  As you all know I'm not a bling and flowers person but the embellies in this kit are beautiful and as I'm off to a school fete in June I'm going to put these ones in boxes.  Once I've finished them all I'll let you see them but can only claim to have made them as the designs are copied from the inspiration sheet by Hazel Conboy.  I've done half of them so it may be a few days before I get the others done.

Next, the Kumihimo bracelet was easier to make than say ... once you got started!  Again I'm going to make some of them for the fete as you can rustle them up in no time.  I made mine in black and grey, added a wee heart and, naturally, will give it to my granddaughter when I meet up with her on Sunday.

Lastly here is my make for today.  I've been playing with some of my new stamps.  Before my craft crisis I didn't have that many stamps but have discovered how easy they are to use so am building up my collection little by little.

I don't know if I'll have time to blog tomorrow as it's out with my Aunt day.  We are hoping to have a trip to the seaside (we may never get out of the car!) but there's snow forecast again so we'll have to wait and see.

Enjoy your evening.
Hugs
