Anniversary Card

Hello my blogging pals!  I've been up since silly o'clock so put my time to good use and made the anniversary card for our friends' golden wedding.  

I've nothing much planned for today other than do the last lot of ironing that had built up while we were helping our daughter get her new flat decorated.  I'll be glad to see the bottom of the basket again!

It's sunny here at the moment but, as usual, I've no doubt we'll see rain at some point during the day.  It never fails!

I got a couple of commissions from my market stall this morning - both are for tomorrow - no pressure there then! Anyway I've made a couple of quick cards.

45th Wedding Anniversary
I looked up the meaning of a 45th anniversary and it said sapphire but unfortunately I didn't have anything dark blue in my stash so I've made this one on a blue theme.

Anniversary

Friends of ours are celebrating their 37th wedding anniversary tomorrow and I was hoping to use this card for the Dottie's World challenge but unfortunately it didn't come close! I got a pack of these cards from a friend ages ago and have never been able to find a use for them - until today :-)

Digital Tuesday

Hi everyone! Hoping to get a bit of crafting and blogging done today as well as make a couple of commissions. This card is for the Digital Tuesday challenge which this week is a Sketch. I've created this card totally with digital downloads. I'm only just getting into this type of crafting but I'm finding it fantastic as everything is at your fingertips all the time and it does save some cash! OH will be happy about that. I've had to flip the layout to accomodate the image.

Digital Tuesday

I have to say many thanks to Ann (Spirit of Creativity) for mentioning this challenge site on her blog. I hadn't heard of it before ... but I have now!!! The theme this week at Digital Tuesday is Weddings which tied in perfectly with a commission. I was asked to make a classy, minimalist wedding card so I hope this card has ticked all the boxes.
