Easter Bunnies

Hi everyone!

Sorry blogging has been a bit sporadic recently.  I'm only just catching up with myself since Mr C and I were down South visiting friends.  We had a lovely few days with them and the weather was sunny and warm which was an added bonus.  We came home last Tuesday and the time has whizzed past since then.

Yesterday I was at the Dancing on Ice Final Tour at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow.  The show was wonderful and Torvill and Dean danced Bolero which was spectacular.  Unfortunately the venue left a lot to be desired considering it was only opened in September 2013.  I can only describe it as a football stadium with walls, dirty concrete ones at that.  Having travelled from Perth the first thing my pals and I wanted was a cuppa, not one cafe to be found with seats so we had a "fine dining" experience of eating chips on top of a bin ... class!  Rant over!

This morning I was busy doing housework, then I did some jewellery making to take to the school fair and now I'm trying to catch up with blog visiting and some DT work.  Goodness knows how I ever had time to work.  Enjoy the rest of your day.

Hi one and all!

I forgot to schedule this last night as I was out with family and our granddaughter's friends for a meal as it was her 16th birthday.  Where have these years gone?  Anyway, we all had a lovely time and she was throughly spoilt as always.  I'm actually sitting here with a cuppa by my side along with a piece of birthday cake (no calories in it, ha ha).

It's time for another Suzy Bee challenge so here is my offering.  Off now to have a play.  Mr C is away to work, it's hissing down outside and all the housework is done so I think I deserve it.

Golf Time

Hi friends!

Back again ... twice in one day!  What a lovely day Mr C and I ended up having yesterday.  We went out to lunch with friends as it was their wedding anniversary.  We had a lovely meal and spent the rest of the afternoon chatting, couldn't ask for better.  The 'boys' play golf together so this card is very apt as they were doing a lot of golfing talk!

Mr C is away for the next couple of days so I'm chief dog walker ... and the weather is awful, I hate walking in the rain, worse still ... snow!  Daughter and Granddaughter are popping in for tea tonight so I'd better get a wriggle on.  See you soon.

This is my very first challenge post for Moving Along with the Times and it was one of my least favourite themes - Boys - chosen by Susan!  Never daunted though, I donned my big girls knickers and put this together.  I was quite pleased with it once I'd faffed about for ages!  The male theme might just get easier in time ... NOT.

Anyway, this post is scheduled today as I'm off to Dundee with my friend and we're meeting up with her sister there.  We are trying our luck at the bingo as the afternoon session's books are free today so any win would be a bonus.

My Little Friend

Hi everyone!

I've just put my washing out but the black clouds are rolling in despite the fact that the weather forecast says it's going to be the same as yesterday, hot, hot, hot! Hopefully it's just a blip and the sun will appear from behind the clouds very soon.

I'm off to meet my friend for lunch and we were hoping to have a walk afterwards but will have to wait and see.

New Home

Morning all!

I forgot to say the other day that I got my car back, all well again ... that is, except my pocket!  I'll need it this morning as our granddaughter has an appointment at the orthodontist again and is definitely having her braces fitted today.  I hope all goes ok and they don't hurt her too much.

Best get a wriggle on.

Another Baby

Hello folks!

Hope you are all well and the weather's not too bad where you are.  We are alternating between sun and heavy sleet showers today and it's a bitter wind out there ... when are we going to get decent weather?  Not to worry, I'm warm and dry in my crafty bubble!  You'll be fed up with baby cards but I think this might be one of the last.  I'm trying to make a pile of cards for the school fete but that's when Mr Mojo decides to go walkabout!  Thank goodness for Pinterest, I get lots of inspiration there.

Here's a piccie of the 5 cardis I sewed up yesterday.  I still need to get buttons for them but that's on my do to list for next time I'm in town.  As you can see the design on them all is this same, it's my fav and I don't even need to consult the pattern any more!

Must get a wriggle on and get into the kitchen to cook tea.

Oh Happy Day!

Hi everyone!

Hope you are ok and not getting blown away in the strong winds.  Lots of washing flapping away on the lines and not a raindrop in sight!

Housework and a little playing is the order of the day in my little world.  Mr C is working midday to midnight so I can play to my heart's content!  Sorry the photo is a bit wonky.  I can never seem to get my kraft card completely flat and it looks all warped but believe me it's ok in real  life.

Enjoy your evening.  I'm going to watch episode 5 of Broadchurch, I do hope it moves along a bit tonight.  It's one of these programs I can't stop watching even although I think it's been pretty slow.  I hope there is a final conclusion and it doesn't leave you wondering ...

Paper Piercing

Afternoon one and all!

I had a wonderful day with my Aunt yesterday.  We started off in Stirling as she wanted a bit of food shopping in M&S then went along to Doune Antique Centre for lunch, yummy.  We had a wee look around the antique centre and spent a heap of cash ... in our dreams only!

My daughter and granddaughter are away to Glasgow for the day with their friends and I've just had a text from them ... it's snowing.  It's very cold here but at least the sun is shining.  Not to worry, it doesn't snow in the shopping centre.

Mr C is away out with the dog so I thought, as I've been good this morning and have done all my housework and washing, I could have a play in the craftroom.  I love the Less is More challenge on Saturday so here's my creation for it.  I nearly made a faux pas with this card ... again!  I read what I want to, not what I actually see so I though on first glance it said paper PIECING.  Thankfully, through experience, I read it twice and saw it was pieRcing.
