Morning!
Ooops, forgot to schedule this post but at least I'm still on the correct day!

It's a pretty grey day but I'm off to meet 3 friends for our Christmas lunch and parcel swap.  It doesn't feel like Christmas as yet and it certainly doesn't seem like a year since the big man in the red suit last visited.  

I was in Stirling yesterday with my Aunt and it was busy. I'll need to take her somewhere quieter for the next few weeks as she has a walking aid and it's not easy when there's lots of folk buzzing about with parcels and little patience.

My first Christmas fair went quite well.  It was a very small affair for school funds but it got me into the swing of things for next Sunday for the much larger one in a hotel in the centre of town.  

Have a good weekend and I'm off to shower and get my glad rags on.

New Little Tilda

Hi!

While looking at the blogs I follow I came across a card by Elaine Livesey which I absolutey adored and the reason was the cutest Tilda I've ever seen ... she was a must have.  I trawled the internet and eventually found one on ebay so last night I set too and made the card I'm about to show you.

I'm off to see my Aunt today and we're meeting up for lunch with my cuz and her daughter who is just back from 3 months at Camp America.  I can't wait to hear all about her adventures.

I'm not doing very well at this blogging lark again, sorry but there just seems to be so many other things taking up my time.  I think it's all to do with the good weather which I'm taking advantage of while I can, no doubt winter will be spreading it's icy fingers around the land very soon.

Mr C is away out with the dog so I thought I'd pop into the craft room for a play while I'm getting peace!

Good morning!

I missed out on posting yesterday, busy day!  I did have the card half made so when I got up this morning I popped upstairs to the craft room and finished it.  

The weather's not looking too promising today and it's certainly a bit cooler.  Fingers crossed that the rain doesn't come on as my friend and I are off into town while Mr C and her husband are at golf.

Evening all!

It's been another busy old day and I'm chasing my tail again!  What a beautiful day it's been and no cold wind for a change.  I was up with the lark this morning, into town for shopping and bits and pieces and home again by 11 o'clock!  The rest of the day has been spent crafting, jewellery making and my most hated of all jobs, cooking!

I've been having a good old rant tonight.  God bless one of my blogging buddies cos she had to listen to it.  Thank you, you know who you are!  To summarise : I placed a crafty order 11 weeks ago and still haven't received it.  I'm saying no more about it at the moment until I see what the reply to my email is but if I don't get any satisfaction, I'm naming and shaming.  I really hate shoddy customer service and I have to say, it's very very rare in the craft world.  Parcels are usually popping through my door almost as soon as I've placed the order.

Anyway, rant over so I'd better show you one of the creations I've made today.

Hi everyone!

I never got around to blogging yesterday again as I was out most of the day with my friend and in the evening I was watching TV and knitting!  Never a dull moment in my life.  Anyway, today Mr C is sleeping as he was on the midnight to midday shift so I am upstairs in the craftroom this afternoon.  

My new computer is still getting on my nerves but I'm beginning to get the better of it.  My biggest problem is Epson doesn't have a driver for my all-in-one printer that works with Windows 8.  I tried downloading the drivers for Windows 7 but to no avail so my techy guru (son!!!) is on the case as I don't want to have to buy a new printer.  My printer is working but I can't change the print quality etc which is a real pain in the proverbial.  

At long last I've actually made a card though!  This is one for our friends whose daughter recently had the twins.  I'm going to wrap it in tissue and pop it in an envelope box as it's going all the way to Spain.

I'm off now to make dinner but will probably be back later as there's nothing worth watching on TV tonight ... blasted footie again!

Oh Happy Day!

Hi everyone!

Hope you are ok and not getting blown away in the strong winds.  Lots of washing flapping away on the lines and not a raindrop in sight!

Housework and a little playing is the order of the day in my little world.  Mr C is working midday to midnight so I can play to my heart's content!  Sorry the photo is a bit wonky.  I can never seem to get my kraft card completely flat and it looks all warped but believe me it's ok in real  life.

Enjoy your evening.  I'm going to watch episode 5 of Broadchurch, I do hope it moves along a bit tonight.  It's one of these programs I can't stop watching even although I think it's been pretty slow.  I hope there is a final conclusion and it doesn't leave you wondering ...

Morning everyone!

This is my last post before Mr C and I are off on holiday.  I haven't got anything scheduled while I'm away so will be back blogging again on 28 March.  I hope you all have fun crafting and keep out of mischief!

I'm going to get shellac done on my nails today, a present from my daughter for Mothers' Day.  I usually do my nails myself but as this lasts for 3/4 weeks it will save me taking all my nail accoutrements with me.  The burning question now is, what colour do I get?
