I just had to share this piccie with you. When we had the last 'big wind' there were several trees toppled in my son and DIL's garden. As they have two woodburning fires in their house, nothing daunted, they went out and bought a chain saw and all the gear so they could make used of the felled trees.
This is just the spoils from one of the trees, there's another 3 to go. I think there's enough wood there to keep the home fires burning for a while!

OMG they certainly aren't going to be cold this winter Anne lol.
What a lot they have got. Think it might have to be cut a bit smaller though to fit in the fire. Lol!!!
