The Transformation - Step 1

Wow, what a day it's been.  The kitchen has been ripped to bits and the transformation is beginning to take shape.

To keep my mind off THE MESS my friend and I went out for lunch then we spent the afternoon in the craftroom.  There wasn't much done in the way of crafting as we seemed to be talking rather a lot and putting the world to rights!  Oh, by the way, I STILL HATE MESS!

Back to almost the bare bones - check the trendy wallpaper in the left hand corner, I think it's coming back into fashion though.  It's a throwback from when we moved into the house and we covered it with units!

The start of the transformation, the carcasses for the bottom units are now built and that's the new flooring down. Wait till we see what happens tomorrow.

It is nice to see some progress, Anne, even if it is only bare carcasses.
It is the dust that drives me mad - gets EVERYWHERE, closed doors are no barrier in my house.
I recogise that wallpaper pattern - I think I had the same in 1970's....or was it curtains...or maybe a dress, lol.

Hi Anne

Looking good!!!

The trendy wallpaper made me smile .. .. it reminded me of my late MIL's "feature wall" in her kitchen!!

Love Jules xx

You are well on your way now. No turning back. Lol!!! I hate all the mess and the dust settles for weeks afterwards. It will be worth it in the end.
