Helloooooooo - it's me!!!

Hi everyone
A quick post to let you know that I'm still in the land of the living!  I've really enjoyed my break from crafting but am beginning to think I might start again in the New Year but certainly not to the same extent as I did before as I've sold all my stuff!!!  No regrets and I can always buy more if needs must. :)

I've been busy doing other crafty stuff.  The knitting pins have been red hot.  I've done lots of knitting for Christmas.  I've got piccies for you of a couple of dolls I've dressed.  It is impossible to get 'naked dolls' nowadays so I went to the car boot sale and picked these two up for £1 each.  Popped them through the wash and hey presto, as good as new.  I also knitted a pair of wrist warmers for my daughter.  She's broken the same wrist 3 times and when it's cold and frosty it aches so I thought they'd be good for her as she can even wear them while at work as her fingers are free.  I've now knitted so many pairs of them I've lost count.  I don't even need the pattern any more as it's committed to memory.

All the parcels are wrapped and I've just got some baking to do.  We are going to spend Christmas with our son and DIL so I've no cooking to do (yippee) and we are going to my cousin's for NY so again, no cooking to do (double yippee).

I hope you are all well and getting organised for the festivities.

Keep warm and safe.
Anne xx

It is nice that you have been doing other things too though. Fab outfits and wrist warmers for your poor daughter. Bless her.

Hi Anne

Pleased to see you have been keeping yourself busy!!!

Lovely knits!!

I didn't realise you can't buy bare dolls anymore.

I hope selling all your craft stuff wasn't just a ploy for getting sparkly new toys to play with LOL!!! Only joking!!

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Anne. It sounds like you will.

Love Jules xx

I've also started knitting again, it makes a change from card making and I can sit an front of the tv and not miss programmes.
