Christmas on Sunday

Morning!
Oh what a lovely feeling being able to add Christmas cards in the box.  I'm not thinking about sending them as my daughter took all the ones I made last year into her office and sold them all so I'm doing that again this year.  I am trying not to put too many layers on them though as postage is so expensive if you go over the normal rate, and that's bad enough.

The first card I have this morning is for the Christmas Card Club.  The theme - only words - no images - was chosen by Dawn and she made life very easy for me as the die cut was one of the ones that I recently purchased on ebay.  Woopdedoo it was a dream come true!

Elements :
Bottom die - from Susie Sugar ages n ages ago
Front die - Vintage Noel by Tim Holtz
Pearls - The Hobby House
Glitter - Star Dust Stickles

My second card is for Sunday with Santa on Facebook and the theme for this one is Birds.  I rooted around in the pile of Christmas cards we received last year and found one with these cute little robins. A few crafty products have been dropping through the letter box recently and I've used some of them here ... but don't tell Mr C!

Elements :
Image & Ribbon - recycled
Flower - candy I won from Debby (A Scrapjourney)
Sentiment - from Signature Christmas collection by Clearly Besotted
Die - Frames #8 by Crafts Too
Embossing - Swiss Dots by Cuttlebug

I always put inserts in my cards which is one of the jobs I hate so I've made a decision that  I'm doing them as I go along this year ... how sensible is that!  This is the insert I'm going to use for Christmas.

Challenge :
Crafty Hazelnut - No Snow

You really are back on the ball mrs!! Great idea to use a diecut work, why didn't I think of that and love the little bird one. I started off last year with the intention of doing the inserts but then didn't lol. But have been good so far this year, even have the envelopes with names on :)

Both of these are gorgeous Anne - I especially love the first one becuase it's perfectly CAS and the insert - now that is a fabulous insert. I'm putting the inserts in as I make them too - otherwise I end up with a large pile of cards that need them and that's so boring lol! hugs Karen x

They are both lovely cards. That Noel die cut is beautiful - just right for Dawn's CCC challenge. Your robins make such a pretty card. I'd love to see your cards linked for my CHNC challenges too. x

Fab cards Anne, your Noel die cut looks great against the pretty purple. I always love to see a Christmas card with Robins on and yours is delightful. I hope Mr C doesn't read your blog or you could be in trouble!
