Hi! I'm still not getting into my normal routine. Yesterday we had our new boiler and central heating installed. Oh what a mess the house was in but this morning I was up with the lark and got stuck into the kitchen which was the worst, covered in gritty dust, yeuk! All is clean again for another couple of weeks as we are getting our new kitchen on 14 May and will be in uproar again. It will be well worth it in the end. We bought our house as a shell 20 years ago and had to have everything done and we've never replaced either kitchen or heating since then so I don't think we can complain as neither owes us anything. In fact I'm surprised the boiler lasted so long as latterly it rattled and banged when it went on in the morning - our alarm!
One of my friends is on holiday this week so we had lunch at a lovely farm restaurant then had a look around the farm shop. She is looking forward to retirement and can join the 'ladies who lunch' brigade.
We have been invited to a golden wedding so I've made this card for our acceptance. I was at the Sincerely-Yours craft fair at Ingliston on Saturday and bought some Dreamweaver brushes, a poppy die by Memory Box and a dot template by TCW, all of which I've used on this card. It's fun using new things.
