Challenge :
Crafty Ann's - Celebrate Your Creativity - something that takes you out of your comfort zone
Elements :
BP - Abstract 2 Pastels in Pink, Polished Stone Brights in Red both by Crafty Ann
Image - Posy by Crafty Ann
Sentiment - Cute Companions Romance Stamp Set by Jane Nesterenko
The image has been water coloured using #177, #761 by Tombow and #67 by Marvy. I decoupaged the bow just to give the card a lift. The edge of the images was distressed using Tattered Rose Distress Ink by Tim Holtz
As for out of my comfort zone, well I am on three counts -
1 making a DL card, I've got used to 6x6
2 colouring, I've still not mastered shading
3 distressing - I've lightly distressed round the edge of the image but not completely happy with it

It might be out of your comfort zone Anne, but it doesn't show. Great card

A stunning card Anne, and well done on using all those different techniques for this fortnight's challenge!
I'm glad that we've managed to take you out of your comfort zone Anne because it's produced a stunning result and I think you're being a tad hard on yourself with the colouring because you've done this beautifully. I know what you mean about the DL card though, I used to do a lot of them but like you tend to the 6x6 now.

What a lovely card Ann,the shading is great too, it can be fun sometimes to move out of your comfort zone and that's how we learn new techniques I guess.

You'd never guess you were out of your comfort zone Anne. This is lovely - your colouring of the posy is perfect.

Anne, What a lovely card. I think you have done well with the colouring and distressing and you wouldn't believe you were out of your comfort zone.
Thank you for allowing me to be a Guest Designer this month. I have really enjoyed it – even if the second challenge well and truly took me out of my comfort zone. It’s been nice to see how everyone else interpreted the challenge and I’ve kept saying “why didn’t I think of that?”. Thanks for the opportunity.
Take care and my best wishes, Kym xxx
This is really pretty, Anne.
I love the gentle colouring.
