Won't Be Around So Much

I'm not going to be a good blogger over the next 8 week - be warned!  My dearly beloved and I are moving back to Scotland permanently in mid July.  No reason other than we've been in Spain for 5 years and we've now had enough.  George is tiring of all the travelling (here for 7 days, there for 7 days!) and I'm tiring of being on my own so much, plus, I miss my family and friends back home more than ever.  It's been a wonderful experience and something we will never regret doing.  How lucky we've been, a dream turned into reality.

As you can imagine I've loads of packing to do, not to mention three lots of visitors to fit in before July!  I've scheduled as many DT cards as I've been able to complete given the subjects from the various challenges - I just hope they work.  I will be checking in now and again and posting if I have time.  TTFN xx

Very exciting news from HQ of Ooh La La Creations!

 

Both Shoes in Bloom and Watercolour Memories CDs will be featured on Create and Craft on Saturday 19 June at 10am.

The DT have been beavering away making some awesome samples so make a date to tune in.

There's also a great challenge going on at OLL this fortnight - Bright and Cheerful.  Join in if you can but make a note in your diary for the next challenge on 31 May when there will be a  little surprise.

Back to Spain

Back safely yesterday so the ash cloud didn't disrupt us.  Sun splitting the sky this morning so hope it stays that way.  15 airports in Spain closed this morning due to the volcano so George may not get back next week for work - is he bovvered???

Crafty Ann's - DT

Hi my fellow blogging friends

I am so sorry but I don't have a DT card for Crafty Ann's this time as I'm in Scotland and the craft stuff I brought with me from Spain isn't working as well as I'd hoped so lesson learned!!!  I've scheduled this post so hopefully by the time you read this we should be on our way back but depending on the dreaded ash cloud we may not  :(  I'll keep you posted!

Although I've no card I do have some very exciting news.  The next Crafty Ann's challenge on 21 May is our very first BLOG HOP to celebrate the launch of ...... oh no you'll have to be patient and wait until then to find out what it is, but, there are prizes to be won at every hop along the way so please, pop the date on your calendar and come along and join in the fun.

This is another card I had already made up and used this for my class to make up.  I had kind permission from Wendi of Ooh La La Creations to do this, thank you Wendi.  Again I can't remember which Ooh La La CD this came from but I think it's a lovely collection and I love the colour.  The ticket is by Crafty Ann.

Birthday

I had a few cards made up before I left Spain and stored them here as drafts in case I couldn't make cards while here in the UK.  This is one of them but don't ask me what the elements are as, yes you've guessed, I left my book at home with all the designers etc.  Hope you like it though.

I was lucky to be asked to be part of Karrie's design team and am so ashamed of myself as I've fallen at the first hurdle.  I am actually in Scotland at the moment on a short break and brought a few bits of crafting materials with me - but no colouring stuff - aaah!  The card I'm about to show you for this challenge is, in my opinion, a disgrace because I've had to use my granddaughter's felt tips to colour (not my chosen medium at the best of times) and you know what the kids' ones are like, scratchy and dry.  Anyway it'll give you a feel for what my idea was and I'll be back next time with something I'm proud to put on my blog as we go back to Spain on Friday.
