OLL DT - Quotations

Hi!

I just take part in DT stuff with Ooh La La Creations when I have time but this challenge was a MUST!   Wendi and Emma have a new CD coming out soon called Say It With Words and DT Wendy picked the theme of quotations which fell into line just beautifully.  The artwork and quotations on the CD are brilliant and when making cards the designs almost put themselves together.  Stay tuned as it launches on Create and Craft on 9 June at 3pm (GMT).

Hi everyone!  Monday again and it's time for the challenge at Ooh La La Creations.  I've missed the last couple but have managed to make something for this one which is called All At Sea.  

I've had to schedule this post as I'm on duty at my daughter's again this morning.  Virgin are coming to install TV, broadband etc between 8-12 then I'm meeting my friend and Mr C's cousin for lunch at 1pm.  It's a small world you know cos my friend and Mr C's cousin used to live next door to each other when their children were small!  

I've created this design using Paint.net.  I'm loving it!

Hi!  Hope you are all well this morning.  Don't have much on the agenda today but will maybe do some crafting for a while this afternoon.  Daughter and I did housework yesterday there's no ironing apart from what's on the airer ... what a lovely feeling!

Morning!  It's Monday and time for another Ooh La La Creations challenge.  This time the theme is Mystical Magic.  I managed to get this card done yesterday when I was having some crafty 'me' time!

OLL is launching a new CD called Everyday Occasions featuring the artwork of Shelly Rasche and has birthday, baby, christmas and wedding themes to name but a few.  There are 53 different sets all containing backing papers, toppers, coordinating inserts and decoupage.  In total there are over 800 sheets to print.

The CD will be featured on Create and Craft on Friday 6 July at 10am with another show at 1pm.

Now, on to the card I've made for this challenge.  I created it using Paint.net which I've wanted to play around with for a while, what do you think, honestly!

Morning, The new kitchen day has arrived!  I've scheduled this post as I've no idea when the electricity will be off and I won't have internet.  Please send positive vibes that they don't make too much mess ... did I tell you yesterday I HATE MESS!!!  Thankfully Mr C is working from 12 midday so he won't be trying to sleep through clattering and banging.  Our pooch went off to stay with our daughter last night as she doesn't like noise.  That's what happens when she lives with two old fogies!

One for the Boys

Hi! You're never going to believe me ... I conquered the ironing mountain yesterday!  Unfortunately I've another load of washing on the drier so off we go again.  All the tiles for the kitchen are now safely stored in the garage and the spiders are watching over them, yeuk!  I've got stuff to get ready for class on Thursday so I'm going to have a busy day in the craftroom.

Morning folks!  It's Monday again so that means it's time for another Ooh La La Creations challenge.  I really love being on the design team as we have such fabulous CDs to work with.

The family all had a wonderful meal yesterday and although none of the 3 people who have a March birthday actually had a birthday yesterday we gave them their pressies and they were all over the moon, especially our granddaughter who got an ipad.  After our meal we went back to our house and our son helped set the ipad up with all the apps, music etc that our granddaughter wanted so she was one happy bunny.

I really must get to grips with the ironing pile today so that I can get stuff sorted out for the case, once I get it out of the cupboard!  I really can't believe how quickly the time is passing and I still have so much to do!

Our DIL is in Singapore on business and sent this photo.

It looks as though it's a ship sitting on top of the building but it is a park in the sky and it's built on top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

Morning! Funny how things turn out.  My lazy day by the fire didn't materialise yesterday!  My friend sent me a text asking if I was up to anything as she was fed up because her dearly beloved was watching football on tv.  Needless to say I'm always ready for a jaunt so we ended up at a lovely farm shop with restaurant (of course) on the shores of Loch Leven.  It was very cold but the sun was shining, all in all a beautiful day.  There were signs of a little snow in places but nothing to get excited about.  I spent the evening watching Dancing on Ice, ooh don't they make it look so easy.

Sneak Peek

I've been a very, very bad blogger ... again!  Time is not on my side these days but I've snatched a few hours in the craft room today to make samples for the showcasing of Ooh La La Creations new disc - Shoes in Bloom 2 - which is out on Create and Craft on 23 December.  I don't know the time at the moment but will let you know very soon.  I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do, the colours are so vibrant and there's everything you could possibly need on one disc.

It's exceptionally cold here today and the pavements, and even some of the roads, are just like a skating rink.  Thank goodness Mr C is at home today and I don't have to take our 4-legged friend out for a walk.

Hi everyone!  I had a fabby day out with my friend on Friday.  Didn't actually buy very much but it was great to catch up.  Saturday I was meeting up with 3 friends whom I've known for 40+ years.  We decided to have our Christmas get-together earlyish this year in case we had the same bad weather as we experienced last year.  Presents and cards have been duly swapped ... how organised are we!  Sunday was a family day as it was our son's birthday so we all met up for lunch and had great fun.  Today I'm off to see my aunt as she wants me to take her to M&S for some Christmas shopping.  Seems like I'm never at home but it beats working any day.  It's the best job I've ever had!  Hugs x
