Morning!  Just a quick post as I'm off out with my friend.  We are having a trip to Dunfermline today as neither of us has been there for years.  We've had lovely warm weather the past few days so hopefully today will be the same, fingers crossed!

Granddaughter

Morning!  Firstly I'd like to say sorry that I've not been around commenting much these past few days but I've been busy getting ready for my holibobs.  We are off to Spain tomorrow so this will be my last 'live' post for 4 weeks.  We are really looking forward to catching up with all our friends there and hopefully getting some sunshine.

I had a day out to Stirling with my Aunt yesterday.  She enjoyed it and managed to get the things she was looking for.  Today I really HAVE to get the case out of the cupboard and get organised as Mr C doesn't finish work until midnight and we are off at 5am tomorrow. I have everything laid out on the spare bed so all I really have to do is pack.  I want to get the bed changed and do last minute dusting etc.  The budgie has to get cleaned out as it's going next door to its Aunty Ruby (our neighbour) and the dog is going to our daughter so that's the animals seen to, phew.

I hope all my blogging friends behave while I'm out of the country.  I'm taking my lappy with me but don't know if  or when I'll be able to connect so take care everyone and I'll be in touch soon.

Apart from all that it's our Granddaughter's birthday today and I'm trying to fathom out where the last 14 years have gone!!

Woopee!

Morning!  Wow folks, that's another month of 2012 hit the dust, where does the time go?  We had another busy day yesterday.  In the morning we ordered our new kitchen (the one we have is 20 years old!!!) which will be installed once we are back from Spain so you will no doubt hear all about it at a later date.  After that we went to Callander to pick up my car which is all sorted and thankfully didn't cost me an arm and a leg!

I'm going into town this morning to get some bits and pieces and then to the hairdresser in the afternoon so that I don't have any grey hairs showing when I'm on my holibobs.  After all that I can't see any crafting getting done today but hopefully tomorrow.

Hi! Christmas 2012

Morning!  The television was so rubbish last night that I popped upstairs to the craft room and did some creating.  There are still a lot of Christmas challenges on the go so here's the first one for this year!  Pink Petticoat have a sale on just now so a few things fell into my cart.  I was itching to use them so this was a perfect 'excuse'.  Today I'm going to get the house back to normal and the Christmas decorations packed away for another year.  It seems to have gone very quickly this year but I have to say, a good time was had by all.  Hugs x

Hi!  I managed to grab a few hours to myself today so I've been crafting and started watching Series 1 of Downton Abbey on DVD.  I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.  Mr C and I spent it with our daughter and her family and we had a great time.  Santa was so good to all of us, we're very lucky.  Although it's not New Year yet I've made a resolution ...
