Hi, sorry I'm so late today. Yesterday turned out to be a bit of a disaster. Mr C and Son got the tree chopped up and loaded what we could into my car. We stayed with them for a while and had a chat and a cuppa then when it was time to go I jumped (!) into the car, switched it on and the onboard computer said STOP - brake failure. It sure was correct as the brakes were doing nothing and the steering wheel was locked. Back to the house and phoned the recovery people. Without going into details, as I'm still seething, they were less than useless and the outcome of the whole scenario is my car is still sitting in my Son & DIL's drive and tomorrow we will have to get the local garage to go and tow it away and see what's wrong with it. Grrr...
I was meaning to get my cards for today done last night but by the time all the shenanigans over the car were done we had to get a run home from Son and it was almost 10.30 by the time we got home so, as you can imagine, I was in no mood for making cards - straight to bed with my book!
Today I was going to get the cards done in the afternoon but, I have to confess, I got a better offer - an afternoon out with my cousins and Aunt. I'm just going to post these cards then off to bed again, I've a great book at the moment and can't wait to find out what's happening next.Hugs
This card is for the Christmas Card Club with the theme of 2+ folds. It was set by the lovely Lizzie, not so lovely really (sorry hun) as I found this one quite difficult!!!
